Spurs reportedly have an offer ready, with a price tag of €60–65 million…
As the Italian media continues wondering where Atalanta star Teun Koopmeiners will end up next, Tottenham Hotspur are again named as one of the potential destinations for him.
TV Play this week featured an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport journalist Giorgio Dusi, who shared his opinion on some transfer business.
Asked about Koopmeiners, pointed out that Juventus stand as the favourites to land the midfielder, but some Premier League sides also compete for the signing, with Tottenham included.
Also according to Dusi, it would take between €60m and €65m to convince Atalanta to sell, with the player gaining more value because of his versatility on the pitch. Since he’s also expected to play at the Euros with the Netherlands, the price could still go up.
Tottenham’s interest in Koopmeiners isn’t new, and this month, the Italian media had already been saying that Spurs have an offer for him ‘ready‘. So perhaps their path to win this battle is by trying to get a deal before the others, as the Euros may be a factor to make him more expensive.
